We are committed to supporting our local communities, and with 11 sites around England and Scotland we have plenty of opportunities to be able to do this.
Charitable Giving
Colleagues are encouraged to take part in two organised charity events at CPI each year. Colleagues can also request a charity match donation for any fundraising events they are taking part in personally.
We are also proud to be a corporate partner with Marie Curie, a leading charity dedicated to providing care and support to individuals living with terminal illness and their families.
Volunteering
Each colleague is given a volunteering day each year, which they can choose to use how they wish.
Vulnerable Road User sessions for schools
Our sites host vulnerable road user sessions for local schools. These half day sessions are aimed at teaching children about road safety, especially around heavy goods vehicles.
Sustainability
At CPI, we believe that everybody has a responsibility towards the sustainability agenda. CPI is a leader within the construction sector, and we take our ethical responsibilities seriously. Our initiatives include:
-
Solar arrays at five of our sites
-
Transition to HVO fuel for our trucks at two of our sites
-
Planting two forests in Scotland
Tony O’Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer at CPI, said: “CPI is committed to sustainability in action, going beyond words to make a tangible impact on our colleagues, communities and the planet we all share. We do this by investing in more sustainable processes and products and giving colleagues opportunities to support community projects.”
