CPI EuroMix supplied its premium quality dry mortars to provide homes within an exciting community development in Birmingham city centre with a smart, contemporary brickwork finish.

A total of four silos containing approximately 2,000 tonnes of factory blended coloured mortar were delivered to Belgrave Village, a 438-property project on behalf of Wavensmere Homes and The Galliard Apsley Partnership.

Post-manufacture, CPI’s M4 Natural dry mortar was transported 14 miles from the company’s Bilston manufacturing plant to the Belgrave Village site in Birmingham, also known as the UK’s ‘Second City’. Its installation was carried out by contractors Miles & O’Donnell Brickwork. and Brickstone Construction.

Just minutes away from Birmingham’s thriving commercial centre, Belgrave Village comprises 438 homes in a range of two, three, and four-bedroom houses and apartments. The luxury residence has all the amenities required of a modern urban development, and more. A screening room and co-working spaces are among standout ‘extras’ for occupants of Belgrave Village, which is set within a green oasis of calm and natural beauty and in stark contrast to Birmingham’s built-up cityscape.

CPI’s EuroMix factory-blended dry mortars are available in standard and custom mix designs. The prefabricated process guarantees mix proportions, with the mortar arriving on site ready to use – just add water – and exhibiting excellent workability and durability. The mortar’s built-in quality speeds up installation times, thus benefitting building projects involving complex designs and challenging deadlines. CPI’s bespoke mortar supply is supported by expert technical support. This is essential to upholding end users’ peace of mind that the necessary knowhow is available during installation to help overcome unforeseen issues.

Manufactured in an ISO 9001 quality scheme, CPI masonry mortars comply with BS EN 998-2 (Specification for Mortar for Masonry). With CPI EuroMix overseeing each stage of its market-leading mortar’s production in factory-controlled conditions, customers are assured of a readymade, reliable mix that delivers optimum results time and again.
